Four months of happiness!

Dear Kate,

I can't believe you're 4 months old already!  You are perfectly average in size, according to the doctor, but Daddy and I know you are totally above average in the sweet, cute, funny and smart categories.

You can sure giggle up a storm -- something we do not get tired of!   Our go-to comedy routines are: Mommy's Cookie Monster voice which includes chomping on your cheeks ("Me want cookie! Nom nom nom nom nom."), Daddy's impression of Nancy Grace ("Kay-te! Unleash the lah-yers!"), and Deb, the lady with a deep voice who likes to take you for rides on her motorcycle and plays a lot of softball.

After we got back from vacation you started to become a little less predictable than you were before, but that's ok, it just keeps us on our toes!  You also started using a different voice.  It's more squeaky and louder than your first voice, and you mostly use it to whine and talk to Bossier.

Boy, have you and Bossier finally made friends!  After months of virtually ignoring each other altogether, he now waits outside your door while you're sleeping and has to be in the room when you're around.  He even guarded your door when Uncle Jimmy spent the night this week.  You love to watch Bossier during tummy time and smile and giggle when he does his infamous 360 trick.

 Words can't express how happy we are to have you in our lives and how much we love you.  Happy 1/3 of a year, Katie Bug!
