Well here's an exception...

So, again, the issue of disliking baby clothes with words emerges in this blog... I've discovered that it really is, in fact, a fashion-related preference and nothing much deeper than that.  But this onesie from my good friend, Kristen, breaks the rules because it gives me a good chuckle.

 

I was filling out Kate's baby book yesterday and came to a section of "advice people gave us before you were born."  I wrote:  Every single piece of advice we received, either from a friend or relative or book or nurse, was the exact opposite of something else we'd heard, so we just had to figure things out for ourselves and let you teach us what you needed.  And you're a really good teacher!

If I had to re-write the tee I would have said something more like:

my mom doesn't mind hearing

your advice but the chances

of her implementing it 

are slim to none

Or, more simply:

doesn't matter, 

i'm the boss

Wait, I think they sell that one.
