It's official!

It's taken me a while to get this blog up-to-date! This is a copy of the email we sent out after Kate's adoption was finalized.

Dear family,

We're happy to announce that Kate's adoption was finalized this afternoon! The judge took Kate up on the bench and held with her while our attorney asked us questions under oath, ending with something like "do you promise to love her forever and ever?" The court room was jam-packed with other families, and everybody applauded for us which Kate seemed to get a kick out of. :)

Words can't express our happiness! Thank you all for your love and support on this wild, amazing journey that is just beginning!
