Boring Super Bowl Weekend....

After a week of covering wild winter weather at work, we made the trek to Fort Worth over the weekend for the baptism of our godson, Noah Alexander. While there, we stayed with my parents who happen to live just down the street from Cowboys Stadium.

Since we were in town on the eve of the Super Bowl, we decided to try and soak up the big game atmosphere in Arlington...good luck with that.

The area was virtually empty. Restaurants had only a handful of patrons, bars were half full, and a tent party with a live musician had more security guards inside than attendees. It wasn't exactly a super-sized atmosphere.

Since we were there, we got out and walked around the stadium. Laura snapped some shots of the incredible structure decked out in SB XLV gear.

While the Super Bowl experience may not have been amazing for us, it was certainly a weekend my brother won't forget. Click here to read this blog posting (I made him write it for our work website) and tell me if you aren't just a tad jealous!
